We collect your personal information in order to provide our services on Nonprofit Bidding. "Personal information" means information that can be used to identify an individual. Examples of personal information that we collect include your contact information (name, address, phone number or email address). TechnicalitiesPlus also stores information about your donation and bidding history through Nonprofit Bidding.
Stripe, our payment gateway, uses a process called tokenization to protect the security of your card. The credit card information you enter on Nonprofit Bidding is connected directly to Stripe's servers in an encrypted format so it never passes through our system. Stripe passes us back a token to attach to your user account and we use that token to charge your card when you win an auction item. You can choose whether to keep your card on file. If you do, your card data is stored on Stripe's PCI-Level 1 certified server in what we call a Payment Profile and we store the token in your user account on our server. If you choose to keep your card on file, we will also pull back from Stripe the last 4 digits of your card, the expiry date and the card type so we can provide you information about what card is on file and alert you when it has expired.

You Give Us Information. We receive and store any information you provide when registering with Nonprofit Bidding, bidding on items, making domations or when you communicate with us by phone, email, or otherwise (e.g. support ticket). This includes names, addresses and contact details as well as information about what you have bid on.
Information is Automatically Collected. We automatically collect and store certain types of information about your use of Nonprofit Bidding. Like many websites, we use "cookies" and other unique identifiers, and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser or device accesses Nonprofit Bidding.
We use your personal information to operate, provide, develop, and improve the services that we offer our customers through Nonprofit Bidding. These purposes include:
Your personal information is shared with the organization running the auction only when you bid on an item from them or interact with them. Organizations have access only to personal information needed to take and process winning bids (this does not include credit card information), and may not use it for other purposes.
You can access and edit your personal information, including your name, address, payment information and contact information, as well as view your donation and bidding history in the "My Account" section of the Nonprofit Bidding website.
TechnicalitiesPlus has put in place reasonable physical, electronic, contractual and managerial measures designed to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
